Ease of use
Sherpa caterpillars are powered by batteries, and the charge status is displayed on the screen. Forward and reverse motion is possible, while the direction of travel is determined using automatic wheels. The caterpillar is operated by a button located at the back of the control panel.
Functionality
The steering wheel can be separated from the device itself, which reduces the overall weight and size and thus makes it easier to maneuver and store. The device itself is extremely low so that it allows loading of different types of wheelchairs.
Security
